Installation Dinner-Dance Held at Landmark
Chapter Officers Installed for 2012-2013
The Chapter's Annual Installation Dinner-Dance was
recently held at The Landmark in East Rutherford, NJ on June
8, 2012. The annual event featured the installation of
Officers of the New York/New Jersey Chapter for the
2012-2013 fiscal year. The festive evening included the
formal induction of the Chapter’s new leadership preceded by
an enjoyable cocktail hour and capped off by an evening of
fine dining, dancing and celebration. The event also
continued the Chapter’s long tradition of honoring the past
Officers responsible for the Chapter's success.
Chapter President Steve Fusco began the formal program by
welcoming the Members, guests and past Chapter Officers in
attendance. Following the formal presentation of colors and
a salute to our nation’s flag, David Rossnagel of Investors
Savings Bank performed the traditional invocation. Kevin
O’Connell of Haven Savings Bank then offered a celebratory
toast to the slate of Officers about to be installed for the
upcoming year.
Chapter President Steve Fusco introduced a pair of
special guests: Dick Yingst, FMS National Chapter President
and Jim Meredith, Executive Vice President and CEO, New
Jersey Bankers Association.
Dick Yingst presented Chapter President Steve Fusco with
the Membership Growth Award and the Chapter Excellence Award
for 2012 on behalf of the NY/NJ Chapter.
Dick then announced the following slate of Officers for
the 2012-2013 fiscal year:

Dick Yingst proceeded to install the
Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer as the Chapter's
Officers for the upcoming year. Steve Fusco returned to the
podium to present his final remarks to the Membership as
Chapter President. He thanked the Membership for their
support during his administration and personally thanked
those who were responsible for the Chapter’s success.
Dick then installed James Montagne, President and CEO of
Atlantic Technology Systems, as the new Chapter President.
Dick presented Jim with the traditional gavel and
President’s Pin. The entire slate of Officers received warm
applause from the entire Membership.
President
Montagne offered his initial address to the Chapter
Membership. He first thanked all of those that made this opportunity
possible and vowed to maintain the rich and successful
heritage of leadership set forth by those who preceded him.
The evening began with a
fabulous cocktail hour that featured a magnificent array of
hot and cold hors d’oeuvres. Once the formal program
concluded, the night was capped off with a sumptuous gourmet
dinner followed by an evening of dancing and entertainment
provided by the incredible live band.
