Chapter to Participate in Sandy Restoration Program
Joint Effort With Habitat For Humanity
The New York/New Jersey Chapter has announced plans to continue the Chapter’s participation in the Repair, Rebuild, Restore Sandy Restoration Program in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity. The Program was launched last year by Habitat Bergen as a block-by-block effort to rebuild homes in Little Ferry, NJ. The township’s homeowners are continuing to suffer the adverse impact caused by the devastation from the storm.

A team of up to ten Chapter Members plan to volunteer their efforts to assist in the rebuilding of a Little Ferry home on May 16, 2014 with the assistance of representatives from Habitat Bergen. Participation in this Program represents the Chapter’s continuing effort to support community homeowners.
