Annual Chapter Golf Outing Provides Members a Perfect Day on the Links
Players Experienced a Great Event under Spectacular Weather Conditions
The NY/NJ Chapter’s Annual Golf Outing was held on Monday August 18, 2014 at the historic North Jersey Country Club in Wayne, NJ under perfect weather conditions. More than 100 golfers consisting of Chapter Members and guests “attacked” the championship course. The rolling hills, lavish greens and strategically placed sand traps provided a constant challenge. Players enjoyed incredible scenic views mixed with tactical shot making.

A full slate of activities throughout the day were made possible only through the generosity of the Chapter's array of sponsors. Following 18 holes of championship golf, the clubhouse patio provided the perfect setting for players to relax and enjoy the open bar and recap the shots of the day. The event was capped off with the traditional steak dinner expertly prepared by the Club’s chefs on the patio barbeque grills. A buffet breakfast fortified the players before the morning start. Refreshments were provided at strategic locations around the course. Overall the entire event offered an enjoyable experience for all.
The Chapter was able to make a sizeable contribution to the David Rossnagel Memorial Scholarship fund though a “50/50” Chapter-sponsored fundraiser.
Past Chapter President and Golf Committee Chairman Fred Viaud presented the day’s distinguished players with the Chapter’s traditional awards for golfing excellence following dinner as listed below.
